Shipping & Returns

Shipping

All orders ship from Coral Springs, Florida via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Please make sure your address is complete and correct, because we can't ship to unconfirmed addresses. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

United States

  • Insured Ground Advantage: approximately 2–5 business days
  • Insured Priority Mail: approximately 2–3 business days
  • Insured Express Mail: approximately 1–2 business days

International

We currently ship to Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, all 27 European Union member countries, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

International shipping charges are calculated live at checkout from current USPS rates, based on your package's weight and destination. The options you'll see may include:

  • First-Class Package International: approximately 7–21 business days (economy; tracking may stop once the package leaves the U.S.)

Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Customs processing in the destination country can add days or weeks.

Tracking: you'll get an email with a tracking link as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Customs, duties & import taxes (international orders)

The customer is solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes (including VAT and GST), brokerage, clearance and handling fees, and any other charges imposed by the destination country or the delivering carrier. These charges are not included in the price of your items or in the shipping charge you pay at checkout. They are set by your country's customs authority, are usually collected by the carrier or postal service before or at delivery, and are outside of our control.

By placing an international order, you agree that:

  • You are the importer of record and are responsible for complying with all import laws and regulations of your country.
  • Emma Vera Jewelry is not responsible or liable for any customs fees, duties, taxes or charges, or for any delays, inspections, holds, seizures or confiscations caused by customs or the destination country's postal service.
  • We must declare the full value and accurate description of every shipment. We cannot mark orders as a "gift," lower their declared value or split them to avoid fees.
  • If you refuse a package, do not pay the import charges, or the package is not collected, it may be returned to us, abandoned or destroyed by the carrier. In that case the original shipping charges, any return-to-sender charges and any customs charges are non-refundable, and any refund for the merchandise will be reduced by those costs. Reshipping a returned package requires new postage paid by the customer.

Customs advisories

Import rules change often. Before you order, we recommend checking with your local customs office or postal service. A few current points to be aware of:

  • European Union: since 1 July 2026 the EU applies a flat customs duty (currently €3 per item type) to low-value parcels from outside the EU, in addition to import VAT. Some EU countries also charge their own handling or parcel fees.
  • United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico & Japan: import VAT/GST and carrier handling or brokerage fees may apply depending on your order's value and your country's rules.
  • Jewelry rules: some countries regulate precious metals, hallmarking or certain materials. It is your responsibility to make sure the items you order may be legally imported into your country.

Address accuracy, lost & delayed packages

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer. Packages returned to us as undeliverable can be reshipped once new postage is paid.

Once your order has been handed to USPS it is in the carrier's care. If your package appears lost or is significantly delayed, please contact us and we'll help you open a claim or trace with the carrier.

Returns & exchanges

We want you to love your jewelry. If it isn't right, you can request a return or exchange within:

  • United States orders: 7 days from delivery
  • International orders: 15 days from delivery

To start, email info@emmavera.com with your order number (or the name on the order). We'll reply with instructions. Please ship your item back within 14 days of our approval. Items sent back without contacting us first can't be accepted.

Return & exchange shipping costs

The customer is responsible for any and all postage and mailing charges arising from returns and exchanges. This includes:

  • The cost of shipping the item back to us (domestic or international).
  • The cost of shipping any replacement or exchanged item to you.
  • Any customs duties, taxes or fees charged on a returned or exchanged item, in either direction.

If we provide a prepaid return label for your convenience, its cost will be deducted from your refund. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service for returns, because we can't be responsible for returns that are lost or damaged before they reach us. International customers should mark returns as "Returned Goods" on the customs form; any import charges on a returned package will be deducted from the refund.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Customs duties, import taxes and carrier fees are non-refundable.
  • Items bought with a promotional discount are refunded at the price you paid.

Condition

Items must be unworn, undamaged and in their original packaging. Unworn means no scratches, discoloration or signs of wear, and stones as shiny as when we shipped them. Items that show wear or damage will be sent back to you at your expense and can't be refunded.

Final sale and non-returnable items

Items marked Final Sale at checkout, gift cards, and custom or engraved pieces can't be returned or exchanged.
